βœ“Mission As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will deliver fast, reliable, API-driven integrations for our largest customers by translating business workflows into scalable, repeatable technical solutions.
βœ“You will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to deliver best-in-class integration experiences that drive adoption and long-term success.
βœ“This role is primarily customer-facing, with a strong focus on solution design and customer outcomes rather than traditional software development.
βœ“You'll build integrations primarily with low-code tools, using light scripting where needed.
βœ“What You’ll Do Independently design, build, and deliver complex, scalable, and secure integrations between Choco and customer systems using low-code tools (e.g.
βœ“n8n and Tray.ai ).
βœ“Own complex and strategic integration projects end-to-end, from technical discovery and solution architecture to go-live, ensuring quality, scalability, and long-term reliability.
βœ“Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales by leading technical discovery, proofs of concept, and integration scoping, advising on feasibility and solution design for complex customer requirements.
βœ“Act as a technical escalation point, troubleshooting critical integration issues, proactively identifying risks, and driving sustainable solutions.
βœ“Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams, providing technical guidance, documenting integration designs, and influencing product improvements based on customer needs.
βœ“Mentor junior Solutions Engineers, providing technical guidance, sharing expertise, and supporting their development through complex projects.
βœ“Drive continuous improvement of integration architecture, processes, and best practices to increase delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability globally.
βœ“Independently make technical and architectural decisions within complex projects, escalating only major strategic decisions requiring broader alignment.
βœ“What You Bring 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, IT/ERP consulting, or systems integration.
βœ“Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
βœ“Experience managing end-to-end API integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support across multiple customer environments.
βœ“Experience with low-code or automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, and Tray.ai .
βœ“Basic programming knowledge (e.g.
βœ“JavaScript or Python) and working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and data mapping.
βœ“Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
βœ“Excellent communicator with the ability to make complex ideas clear and simple.
βœ“This position requires in-office attendance 3 days per week in our Paris office.
βœ“Nice to Have Experience with the ERP or ordering systems common among food and beverage distributors.
βœ“Background in food distribution, supply chain, or B2B SaaS.
βœ“Familiarity with EDI, SFTP/flat-file integrations, or basic SQL.
βœ“Comfort using AI tools to speed up discovery, documentation, and integration builds.
